Webcam Lake Chiemsee Übersee
The Chiemsee webcam is located directly on the shore of Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria, on the grounds of the Beach Bar Übersee | Chiemsee. Adjacent to the Beach Bar Übersee is Bavaria’s longest natural sandy beach, which includes a nature reserve and the mouth of the Tiroler Ache as it flows into Lake Chiemsee. The camera faces southwest toward the town of Bernau am Chiemsee. In the foreground, you can see Lake Chiemsee; on the left is the Kampenwand mountain, and the view extends further to Bernau, which lies roughly in the center of the image. But the webcam isn’t just interesting for windsurfers, wingsurfers, and kitesurfers—its high resolution makes it appealing to many people. In particular, this location frequently offers spectacular sunsets.
