Webcam Lake Walchen

The webcam is located in Urfeld am Walchensee / Bavaria, on the shores of Lake Walchensee, on the grounds of the Panoramahotel - Seerestaurant Karwendelblick at around 830 m asl. The direction of the camera is towards southeast.

The direction of the camera is towards southeast. In the foreground is the Lake Walchensee, farther back, on the left side Sachenbach and the island of Sassau. In the background you can see the Karwendelgebirge. The webcam image is updated every 10 minutes, all images are saved and can be retrieved at any time.

The picture shows temperature and wind data. The data for temperature, air pressure and humidity are recorded by sensors at the camera location. The anemometer for wind measurement is mounted at a height of about 1.6 m on a buoy above the deepest point of Lake Walchensee (relatively in the middle of the lake).
