Webcam Lake Starnberg
The webcam Lake Starnberg (Starnbergersee) is located in Ammerland on the grounds of the Wassersprotcenter Starnberger See and looks across the lake towards the south west. In the background you can see the highest mountain in Germany, the "Zugspitze". Ammerland / Ambach is a well-known and popular spot for windsurfers and kitesurfers.
Weather Station Lake Starnberg
This webcam in Herrsching as well as the associated weather station were mounted on a mast on the pier of the sailing association. This provides an optimal wind measurement at this location as the anemometer is practically in, rather than just on the water.
